Porsche 928
Wolfgang Möbius · 1977
The Porsche 928 is a grand touring car produced by Porsche AG from 1977 to 1995. It is a 2+2 coupé with a rear hatchback, featuring a front-mounted, water-cooled V8 engine driving the rear wheels. It was Porsche's first production car with a V8 engine and its first fully in-house design for a production vehicle. The 928 aimed to blend sports car performance and handling with luxury car comfort and spaciousness, and was conceived as a grand touring car with a conventional engine. It won the European Car of the Year award in 1978.
