Lexus LFA

Kengo Matsumoto · 2010

Lexus LS400

Kunihiro Uchida · 1989

The LS 400 was the first model Lexus ever made. It grew out of the F1 project, started in 1983 with no set budget and no existing Toyota parts, and it cost over US$1 billion to develop. It debuted in January 1989 with a new V8, a quiet cabin and a low drag figure, and it was largely responsible for the successful launch of the Lexus marque.
