Mercedes-Benz EQS

The Mercedes-Benz EQS is a full-size luxury battery-electric liftback, launched in September 2021 in Germany and Q4 2021 in the US. It is the first model built on Mercedes-Benz’s MEA electric-dedicated platform. Its 0.20 drag coefficient was the lowest in production at launch. It uses one or two Valeo Siemens water-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motors, sending torque to the wheels via a single-speed reduction gearbox.
