Smart Fortwo

The Smart Fortwo is a two-seater city car made by Smart, a division of Mercedes-Benz Group, from 1998 to 2024. It used a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and mono-box body across all three generations. It was manufactured in coupé and cabrio forms at Smartville in Hambach, France. It sold over two million units globally across 46 countries. Its defining features include compact length (2.5–2.69 m), the Tridion steel safety cell, interchangeable plastic panels, and offset seating.
