Chevrolet Camaro (first generation)

Henry Haga · 1967

The first-generation Chevrolet Camaro is a 1967–1969 American pony car built on a new rear-wheel-drive GM F-body platform. It shares that platform with the Pontiac Firebird. Its standard engine is a 230 cu in straight-6 producing 140 hp and 220 lb⋅ft torque, paired to a 3-speed manual. Most units were assembled in Norwood, Ohio and Van Nuys, California — with local assembly also in the Philippines, Belgium, Switzerland, Venezuela, and Peru.
