Tata Nano

The Tata Nano was a city car made by Tata Motors in India between 2008 and 2018. It used a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. It launched at ₹100,000 for scooter and motorcycle drivers. It had no rear cargo opening in its original saloon form. A five-door hatchback arrived in 2015. Sales peaked at 74,527 units in FY 2011–2012 and fell to 7,591 in FY 2016–2017. Production stopped in May 2018.
